EUTECC Forum in Milan

On Thursday 3rd of May, the European Technology Chamber (EUTECC) hosted another successful EUTECC Forum in Milan, Italy. EUTECC is proud to see so many potential business partners attending the event full of interesting presentations and speakers.

The forum took place at the Palazzo Giureconsulti, in the heart of Milan. Many participants, including representatives of innovative technology companies from across Europe took part in the fully booked event.

The presentations ranged from introducing EUTECC and its tools to help and enable EU technology leaders to settle successfully in the Chinese Market in HD CEFC – the pilot project for the EU China Sustainable Urbanization Partnership.

Mr. Florian von Tucher, Chairman of EUTECC gave insights on the opportunities and challenges of the Chinese market and on how EUTECC works and supports EU firms expanding their businesses to China. Other representatives of EUTECC elaborated on several tools used in order to successfully settle in a sustainable HD CEFC.

Ms Sierra Wang, Chairwomen of HuanDe, also gave a speech at the EUTECC event. The participants got a deeper understanding of the opportunities in the Chinese market, and especially within the HD CEFC project.

Finally, the Mustard Seed Foundation gave a presentation on an initiative with a focus on promoting integral human development.

Overall, the participants got a deeper insight how EUTECC supports European high-tech companies to become successful in emerging markets and expand their operations in the international context. The HD CEFC project was perceived at the forum as an unique opportunity for leading technology companies to enter the Chinese market. At the 10th forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Swiss Asian Chamber of Commerce (SACC) and EUTECC.
